B&G Black & Grey

With over ten years of experience and work across several countries, I have developed a tattooing approach focused on composition, lasting legibility and the relationship between the design and the body.

Every project is designed individually. I study the placement, proportions and intention before drawing a single line.

Consultations are free, by appointment, preferably at the studio in Rome.

aftercare

Phase 01 · First 24 hours

Protection and cleaning

  • Remove the dressing following the timing provided at the studio.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly before touching the tattoo.
  • Gently clean with lukewarm water and fragrance-free cleanser, without using sponges.
  • Pat dry with a clean material, without rubbing. Do not apply fresh film unless specifically instructed.
Phase 02 · Approximately days 2–14

Cleaning and moisturizing

  • Gently wash the tattoo once or twice a day, then dry it carefully.
  • Apply a thin layer of the fragrance-free cream recommended at the studio: the skin should not remain excessively greasy.
  • Do not scratch or pick off peeling skin or scabs: they should fall off naturally.
  • Avoid swimming pools, the sea, saunas, long baths, direct sunlight and clothing that rubs the area.
Phase 03 · Until fully healed

Long-term protection

  • Continue cleaning and moisturizing as your skin needs, without forcing peeling.
  • The surface may look dull or dry: healing times vary from person to person.
  • Avoid soaking and direct sunlight until the skin is completely healed.
  • Only on healed skin, apply broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen to protect the tattoo.
Do
  • Wash your hands before cleaning the tattoo.
  • Use a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser.
  • Pat dry and apply a small amount of suitable cream.
  • Let the skin breathe under clean, soft clothing.
  • Keep out of the sun and use SPF 50+ once healed.
Avoid
  • Scratching or pulling off peeling skin and scabs.
  • Swimming pools, the sea, saunas and soaking until healed.
  • Sun exposure and tanning beds while healing.
  • Perfumed creams, scrubs and irritating products.
  • Rubbing, tight clothing and activities that irritate the area.
